What therapy approaches are available?
Not one therapy (or Therapist) fits all....
All clients are offered an initial assessment to determine what would most help them. This allows us to begin to understand the problem or issue you are experiencing; how you are affected on a day-to-day basis, how that has developed and what you want to get from therapy so that we can decide together what the best approach for you is. The main therapies I offer are Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and EMDR. I also use EFT and integrate mindfulness, compassion and other psychotherapies where appropriate for the individual.
